Open Fields were a Montreal based indie/alt rock band that disbanded in the winter of 2011. Their members included Matthew J Thomson and Danielle J Hamel (now recording eponymously as a duo) on lead vocals, guitar and keys, Justin Avery on drums, Ryan Reed as their first bassist, and Louis Charest who took over on bass after Ryan moved away in 2008.
